Is Chicken Road legit or a scam?

Short answer: The game itself is real: Chicken Road is made by InOut Games, released on 4 April 2024, with a listed RTP of 98%. The scams are around it: fake "official" websites, clones, "earn money" apps, predictor bots and unlicensed casinos. Legit does not mean profitable: it is a game of chance with a house edge, and the RTP depends on the setting the casino chose.

Verification status: developer, release date and the 98% RTP come from InOut Games' own page. The RTP options, top multipliers and the provably fair panel are what we saw in InOut's official demo on 2026-10-26. Operators can change settings, so check the game info where you play.

The "over 3,000,000x" figure that many sites quote matches the Hardcore top step of the 92% RTP table (3,007,259.20x), not the 98% one. Casinos also set their own maximum win, so the top multiplier may be capped where you play.

Legit is not the same as profitable

RTP is the share of all wagers a game pays back over a very large number of rounds. At 98% the house keeps about 2 of every 100 wagered; at 92% it keeps 8, four times as much. Because the game client supports more than one RTP, the same "Chicken Road" can be less generous at one casino than at another. Look for the RTP in the game's info or rules screen before you play, and read our RTP and probability guide.

Countries where InOut does not offer its games

InOut Games publishes its own list of restricted countries. It includes, among others, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, Turkey, Pakistan and Zimbabwe. If someone offers real-money "Chicken Road" in one of these countries, it may be a clone or an operator ignoring the studio's terms. See the availability guide for more.

Frequently asked questions

Is Chicken Road a real game?

Yes. InOut Games lists it on its website, inout.games, with a 98% RTP and a release date of 4 April 2024.

Is Chicken Road rigged?

The official demo has a "Provably fair settings" panel with your client seed and a hashed server seed, which lets you check a past round. It cannot predict future rounds. The official game client also includes payout tables for 98%, 97% and 92% RTP, so check the RTP shown in the game info at your casino.

Can you really win money on Chicken Road?

You can win individual rounds. Over many rounds the house edge works against you: about 2 lost per 100 wagered at 98% RTP, and 8 per 100 at 92%.

Which website is the official Chicken Road site?

The developer's website is inout.games. Many sites with "chicken road" and "official" in the address are affiliate or clone sites. RoosterCrash is an independent site too, not the official one.

Why can't I withdraw my winnings?

Common causes are identity checks (KYC), bonus wagering rules or an unlicensed casino. With an unlicensed operator you have little recourse, which is why the licence check comes first.
